I believe I was told by the Dr that 24 out of 24 G2 and G 3 all went und at 12 weeks - Based on past ratios they expect G 1s to be in the 80% svr range with G 4's doing a little better. Who knows, its a crap shoot. I know many of the top business experts are buying Pharmasett based on promising results of 7997.
How come "they" are hoping 90% SVR for geno4 with 12wks based on what data ?
just curious.....
I know, but they are hoping for a 90% svr for G 4's with this. At this point I think I will give it a shot. I'm still talking prematurely, I don't know yet if I am definitely in.
It is a phase 2 trial and
the purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of PSI-7977 .
If you decide to go with it make sure you understand all the possible limitations and
outcomes.
Seems to be the only one that includes G 4s
1- Recommended by my Hep Dr.
2 - 12 wks vs 48 -
3- PSI 7997 is being highly touted
Why are you looking for a trial ?

Hi Peggy, I'm type 4 also and about the only one available that I have found is,
PSI-7977 With Pegylated Interferon and Ribavirin Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) Genotypes 1,4,5,6 (ATOMIC)
NCT01329978 is the study. Do a search at www.clinicaltrials.gov
I actually have been in contact with the study it does look pretty good.
I dont think there are any but Bali is a geno4 and he will know better when he comes on. Most trials I believe are for geno1.
Don't know~ but you can check out this web site:
