this must be so tough for you guys..to find more help i would go to the alcohol forum ...good luck with everything....billy
I wish you and your family all the best
As has been said, there may not be much you can do at this point. Alcohol and Hep C are a lethal combination. I hope you can stay strong through this.
Best wishes,
Brent
you are very welcome hang in there be strong .... come back and post if you need to
Thank you so much... I will look into hospice care. Thanks.
yes... its a very ugly way to go... my friend just passed this summer, same type of situation... you should talk to hospice maybe they can come in and help the only way he is going to feel comfortable if he that far gone is morphine really
im so sorry for you and your family... its just a horrible thing to deal with...
im saying some prayers for all of you
He refuses to get treatment... Is there anyway I can make him feel comfortable at home? I flew my sister in this weekend just to basically say good-bye since it seems to be so bad. It really is the sadest experience of my life. we are 29, 28, 18 and just seeing him this way is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
So the concensus is that it's not far off... kind of figured, but he has been resiliant to this point and seems like it just went downhill fast... Thanks for your insight.
oh wow so sorry to hear this... it does not sound good and with the continued drinking, it will get even worse, he will need to be in a hospital very soon i think... actually he should be in one right now to detox from the alcohol
i dont think there is much you can do to help him at this point... the pain and mental confusion is the beginning of the end... can you get his dr's to get him admitted somewhere to get off the alcohol?
The coffee grind substance is not good at all. He needs to go to the Doctors immediately. That is a sign of internal bleeding. He needs detox and to be checked out immediately.
