Uhm, do you have Hep C? We are not medical professionals here, just people with Hep C, who offer advice and support.
What supplement were you taking, that elevated your enzymes so much? Mine were about that high last year, as well, and my Doc had me go of ALL my supplements, as well.
It was an over the counter weight loss challenge that is supposed to show results in one month or so. I followed everything by its direction but I started to have reaction to it. I had an Xray, ultrasound, and Hep testings and all came back negative. The only thing that is elevated is the ALT levels but thats about it. Just wondering if this is something to be concerned about or just allow the liver to heal on its own?
liver enzymes are and indication of how the liver is functioning. the liver is a filter and it purifies the blood. if you ingest something that is harmful, i would think that your liver would go into overdrive. think of your liver as an engine and the enzymes are a tachometer. yikes, were did i get that analogy.....like BGirl said, we are just a bunch of Heppers trying to help each other get thru treatment....did you google your question?....there is no magic compound when it comes to weight loss; exercise and portion control are the key....or you can do what i did and let the Hep C treatment knock off 30 pounds for ya.....just kiddin there.....dude, cool nic there, well not as cool as mine but nice.....good luck
