Is transmission possible?

Okay, I apologize if this sounds insane. But, yesterday I entered a casino bathroom and my hand grazed
against a plastic box as I tried to swerve around a long sink line and head towards the stall. I had no idea what it was,
but at 2nd glance, I realized it was one of those sharps disposal boxes. Now, obviously, the needles were safely stored inside, so I obviously didn't come in contact with those, but I wonder if touching the plastic around the box itself poses any risk. I saw no blood on it, but I quickly went and washed my hands. Again, I didn't poke myself with a needle, so I think i'm freaking out over nothing, but I'm wondering if there's any risk at all for exposure to say HEP or HIV. I'm not sure where in the box I actually touched as it happened so quickly, but I had an immediate panic attack thinking I might've encountered some microscopic disease pathogens! HELP!

Thanks for your reply. Well, it was my hand which freaked me out.

I agree I am likely worrying needlessly.

I do believe you are worrying needlessly. Every hospital room has a sharps container on the wall. I am sure lots of people have scraped their body against one.  I don't think you are at risk at all.
