Hey there! I wanted to come back to say try to keep up your water intake and some fat in order to get the Incivek out of your body to help you feel better
Thank God you don't have to eat the 60 grams of fat a day anymore but you do need some fat to get the Incivek out and also to absorb the riba
You are doing a great job!
Shdwsldy, congrats on your hubby!
Congrats on finishing the Incivek! Glad to hear it. Hubby has his last dose of Incivek on July 25th (Not that I'm counting or anything haha)
Hi there, yes it will improve as the Incvek leaves your body.
The first 12 weeks are difficult, Good luck to you
D
Congratulations, you did a great job and SVR is just around the corner!

And I so happy I made it through all of the rashes an crappy days
I am undetectable for now and praying that I will remain this way forever
This site helped me get through some of the darkest days I had and the people in it were great
For anyone who thinks they can't make it ...You will !!! And it's worth it
Keep fighting through and good luck to you all !!

I do feel better , I mean the effects of the other 2 meds are clearer to me what was doing what
But just not having to scarf down that 20 grams
Of fat is already much better and my energy level
Has increased on the first day , the nausea is much better
Thanks everyone , I will check in to keep these posts updated
Thanks again
i definately think you will feel better i know hubby did he still felt fatigued but started to sleep better and his appetite really came back, also mentally easier not having to clock watch then force feed 20g of fat down.Congrats on doing the 12wk and good luck with rest of tx
Ditto the above. You will feel the difference pretty quickly. So happy for you! The remaining weeks of tx will settle into a routine. It's more of a mental game of endurance from here on out.
I'm proud of you for finishing the 12 weeks. It's a mess. Karen:)
I felt much better too, but I itched like crazy for three days. It got easier for awhile until my hemoglobin dropped to the nines shortly after. Then it was bad again for me until the 20th week when my hgb. rebounded some.
The time/fat demands and toxicity of Incivek were very hard and I was so glad to be done with it. Congratulations on completing it.
Overall, it got better for me. My rash got worse, but in many other ways I felt better. For one thing, I finally got some sleep without having to wake up all of the time to eat 20 grams of fat and take pills. So I was not as completely exhausted. Now, I don't want to give the impression that suddenly Tx was easy as pie, because it was not. However, it was better and I felt better than when I was on Incivek. It is all relative.
Hope you feel a lot better withing a day or two. (I noticed the difference right away.)
