Hep C transmission by biting

My cat bit me drawing blood.  Can he transmit my hep C to others if he bites them?

Thanks so much.  I was thinking his fangs could act as an instrument like a razor blade or other instrument.
The cat has a mind of his own.  He'll bite for no reason at all.

Cats don't get Hepatitis C.  Hepatitis C is transmitted blood to blood.  I believe I heard that chimpanzees are the only ones you have to worry about getting hep c.  So if you don't have a chimp that bits.... your company is
proudly safe.   As you know,  hep c is transmitted by blood.  So IF your cat bit you and then turned around and bit your company......you might be a little concerned.   Be nice to that cat : )  I would.

Best to you
