First week of Sovaldi Olysio complete eleven weeks to go!
So far I haven't noticed any sides.
I am having blood work tomorrow happy birthday to me.
Good luck all you dragon warriors!

Wow Pooh
Thanks for clearing that up I had some serious confusion on my terminology there. Looks like I was confusing with RVR rapid viral response with sustained viral response. I am seeing at week 4 RVR was anywhere between 57.1% to 85.2% on the Cosmos study. Still looks like overall about 75.6% but that does temper my enthusiasm a bit.
I have seen some people post they were undetectable at 4 weeks with this therapy and the treatment is only 12 weeks so I am hopefully that will apply to me as well.
Humbly yours
Lynn
Oops, correction. My viral load was 14,400,000, almost the same as hrseprwguy's viral load. Hrsepwrguy and I treated with the same drugs at the same time and we are both SVR. (Interferon, Ribavirin, and Incivek ... treated for 48 weeks).
The current drugs are more effective and you will treat a much shorter time. I am sure you will attain SVR also.
PS: Just for your information.....
SVR (Sustained Virologic Response) is the term used when one is still Undetectable at 24 weeks after completing treatment.
The term used prior to that is Undetectable. So at 4 weeks of treatment one would be Undetectable, but not SVR.
Sometimes you will see the term SVR 4 or SVR 12 and those are terms used with the studies to denote people who are still Undetectable at 4 weeks post end of treatment or 12 weeks post end of treatment.
In addition, if one is Undetectable at 12 weeks post end of treatment, the chances for SVR are excellent, about 99.7% chance, so many consider that they are SVR if they are still Undetectable at 12 weeks post end of treatment. However, we have had people on the forum who were Undetectable at 12 weeks post end of treatment but who were again Detectable at 24 weeks post end of treatment. They did not attain SVR.
Wow pooh
Way to kick the dragons butt! Congrats on SVR.
So I am guessing my pre treatment viral load could be considered low then thats cool less of the little buggers to kill!
thanks
Lynn
My viral load prior to treatment was 14,000,000. I also attained SVR. Many of us had quite high viral loads prior to treatment and most of us attained SVR. There was even one woman on the forum whose viral load was over 69,000,000.
The viral load is most important when one is doing treatment because the viral load is used to determine how one is responding to treatment. You will be astounded at how fast your viral load will drop and become Undetectable after you begin treatment.
Best of luck.
Sure Thanks
This is my pre-treatment Sovaldi Olysio just curious.
More curious to see what 4 weeks brings I have seen a lot of people at SVR at 4 weeks
Lynn
Mine was 14.2 mill pretreatment (which I thought was high) but it made no difference in the outcome of achieving SVR.
Have a great day
(Numbers are Virus Equivalents per Milliliter)
below 200,000 very low (undetectable by *bDNA* test)
200,000 to 1,000,000 low
1,000,000 to 5,000,000 medium
5,000,000 to 25,000,000 high
above 25,000,000 very high
