Almost finished with tx

I have only 10 days of tx left. It's been a tough year. But here at the end I have been feeling worse. Anyway I have been having trouble getting to sleep. But once I do I sleep a long time   Sometimes as much as 10-12 hrs. In the past few days I stayed in bed for 18 hrs. I would just wake long enough to eat drink water take med and go to the bathroom and them I was back to sleep. Now I am having a little trouble with dizziness. I would say it's related to position changes but it happens mostly when I lay down. It's like when you're drunk and the ceiling looks like it turning. Do you have any idea why this would have started now?  Could it be my Blood pressure?  I'm sure I did not drink enough water during those hours. And I didn't eat much. It's not fair to get that world spinning feel without getting to have a few glasses of wine. :(. Should I just try to hydrate first and see if it goes away or make an appt with my Dr right away.

I spent the day trying to eat and rehydrate. If I don't feel better tomorrow I will try to see my Primary care Dr. It takes about a month to see my Gastro dr. He's a busy man. My primary is much easier to see. It's a smaller town but big enough to have a good clinic. I maybe can see him tomorrow or Friday. I will get back to you on the rest of the info. It's  4:40 am. I need to go to sleep. Thanks for your replies.

Just to add...
I am in week 43 and am already doing procrit every 5 days but my HGB is still in the 9s.  I have had to reduce the ribavirin to survive.  For awhile the procrit got my HGB in the 10s but I think the accumulation of meds is just beating it.  The riba could be doing this to you. How much are you taking?

10 days left - impressive.  It is a long haul, isn't it.

Have you been getting regular CBCs?  It sounds like your hemoglobin is dropping.  Of course the dizziness could also be from laying in bed a long time and your blood pressure dropping too or lack of food and water.  I don't know.  It is probably a good idea to call the doctor.

Sometime when you feel up to it, can you give me some updated info for our charts?  I know you are a relapser but why are you doing 48 - are you cirrhotic?  What was your beginning VL.  I know you were UND at week 4 -- did you stay that way throughout tx?

Hang in there.  It is almost over.

This appears to be a relatively new development. If it was me, I would make an appointment with the doctor and see if the cause can be found. It could be something simple, like a blood component being abnormal, or it could be something else. It could be something, a virus or disease process, totally unrelated to Hep C or Hep C treatment. It is best to get it checked out by a professional. If your doctor cannot find the cause, perhaps get a referral to a specialist.

Best of luck.
