I spent the day trying to eat and rehydrate. If I don't feel better tomorrow I will try to see my Primary care Dr. It takes about a month to see my Gastro dr. He's a busy man. My primary is much easier to see. It's a smaller town but big enough to have a good clinic. I maybe can see him tomorrow or Friday. I will get back to you on the rest of the info. It's 4:40 am. I need to go to sleep. Thanks for your replies.
Just to add...
I am in week 43 and am already doing procrit every 5 days but my HGB is still in the 9s. I have had to reduce the ribavirin to survive. For awhile the procrit got my HGB in the 10s but I think the accumulation of meds is just beating it. The riba could be doing this to you. How much are you taking?

10 days left - impressive. It is a long haul, isn't it.
Have you been getting regular CBCs? It sounds like your hemoglobin is dropping. Of course the dizziness could also be from laying in bed a long time and your blood pressure dropping too or lack of food and water. I don't know. It is probably a good idea to call the doctor.
Sometime when you feel up to it, can you give me some updated info for our charts? I know you are a relapser but why are you doing 48 - are you cirrhotic? What was your beginning VL. I know you were UND at week 4 -- did you stay that way throughout tx?
Hang in there. It is almost over.

This appears to be a relatively new development. If it was me, I would make an appointment with the doctor and see if the cause can be found. It could be something simple, like a blood component being abnormal, or it could be something else. It could be something, a virus or disease process, totally unrelated to Hep C or Hep C treatment. It is best to get it checked out by a professional. If your doctor cannot find the cause, perhaps get a referral to a specialist.
Best of luck.
