i was recently screened for the ribavirin concentration study that will use telaprevir. The screener was a professor of pharmacy that studies hcv and hiv drugs. she looked at my supplement list and had no problem with the phoschol. it is not available by script in US. in Germany there is a similar prescription drug called essentiale forte. i believe this is the same product as is sold by hepatitis technologies. of course you should ask you own doctor.

I am on day 7 of my 2nd round of treatment. Thanks, I will just wait till I am SVR
I buy it from Hepatitis Technologies. They have a compassionate relief program that we financially qualified for that made them more affordable for our budget.
I'm assuming that you are taking this off treatment and just trying to maintain your health for now.
There is a study that a Hep researcher brought up here once that indicated it was helpful while treating with just Interferon/Ribavirin but I don't thnk you should add it to a TX including a protease inhibitor. I wish I had an exact reason to sight but someone I consider far more knowledgable than myself, said not to and that was good enough for me. I think they told me why but my mind is in a muddle and I don't remember. I'm sure it hasn't had time to be studied anyway. Even if you aren't on TX, I thought I'd add this for those that are.
If we ever get my husband well, we need to work on a protocol for my lapsing memory. :>) More sleep would probably be a good place to start. ;>)
Best wishes,
Ev
