Thanks for this place !
just like me except I only had one try at tx.
they stopped me @12 for low blood counts and slow response. Assuming you've just stopped tx recently, and because platelets are so low, I'd think the Dr would want to see a 2 wk follow up CBC. I know I would want to see one. BTW, I did and all came back to normal levels.
my liver is a 1. Many here can give you much more info on where you are liver-wise.
also, as many here will attest, Doctors can be very disconnected. Mine was somewhat, and now I'll be dealing with my local medical University instead.

its not likely but possible that your liver is getting worse at a faster rate. i highly
doubt that you have advanced a whole stage in 2 years.
another biopsy is the only way to tell for sure. i would get one. from what i understand low platelets can be a real problem but new therapies for that are in the making. find a cutting edge doc for that. since you didnt respond to treatment, my guess is that you will have wait until the new drugs come out. i dont know if the current new drug trials will accept you. check into it.
just try to eat right and exercise as much as you can and keep a good attitude.
it just a matter of a few years until they will have something for you.
