Have you lost weight on SOC treatment?

I'm in week 36 of a 48 week treatment of SOC.  I started in November 2010.  When i started, i weighed 222 pounds (i'm 6'3", my "ideal" weight should be around 190-195 lbs.) so i was somewhat overweight when i started.  I now weigh 180 lbs.  I'm eating a lot healthier, and smaller portions, and i don't drink beer anymore.  I'm actually pretty psyched about my weight loss, people say i look really healthy and i feel a lot better about myself (plus i've lost my "moobs" or "man boobs" as i used to call them, haha).

Anyway, i just went in for a routine check up at the Liver Center i go to, and the nurse was concerned that i'm coming up on losing around 20% of my body weight, so she's going to touch base with my Dr. about it.

So i've lost around 40 pounds, and i just wondered if anyone else has lost that much weight while doing treatment.  Again, i feel pretty good about it, but maybe i should be concerned...?

thanks in advance for any thoughts, experience, etc. on the subject

-Chris

Since all of our journeys are different, I can only speak for myself. I had a very rough time during my tx and had no appetite. After tx and the meds finally got out of my system, my appetite was the first to return to normal. However, I’ve had a rough time post tx and did not have the energy needed to get proper exercise. Strong appetite +no exercise = fat

Yikes, i think i would be pretty bummed out if i put all that weight back on after i finish treatment... guess i'll do my best to try and keep my weight down after i finish up my SOC (which will be towards the end of September)

When you guys say "it came back fast" and "it came flying back on", i mean, how quick are we talking here?  A month?  less?  more?

Ditto it came flying back on plus some after treatment so be careful and stick to your good eating habits.
