Testing Window Period

Hello, after a protected sex 4 months back I have tested for ANti-HCV which came back negative.

I tested : @ 11.2 weeks, 16 week all came negative.

Any further testing needed.

Also I came to know Hep C is not STD and does not spread by Sexsual act.

your 16 week neg for hep c puts you in very safe territory.

Hep C is NOT considered a Std, as Hep B and Hiv are.  Sexual transmission of hep c,

when it happens, is usually male to female, not female to male. Fyi.

Using a condom is a ALWAYS a good idea when having casual sex.  Was this  paid

for sex with a pros?  Not judging you at all.  Certainly not the first time someone has paid

for sex.

If I were you, i would not worry about hep c any more.  I WOULD, however, get tested

for Hiv and hep B, which are easily transmitted by sex.  I suggest this ONLY for peace of

mind.  I believe you will be neg.  using a condom was smart.

Just need reassurance from you all.

As i said before my tested Netaive at 16 weeks for Anti-HCV.

At 16 weeks my ALT and  GGT are elevated . Values ALT:60 and GGT :70.

I am experiencing loose motion for last one week.

What you people suggest :

1. Is my Negative Test at 16 weeks is conclusive.

2. I need to admit that I have taken alochol regularly for a period of two months before this test and new new alcohol.

3. Does my ALT and GGT means anything?
