Welcome to the club and good luck with tx!
Welcome to the forum.
Congratulations on starting treatment. Hopefully eveything will go smoothly.
Actually....playing scales on the guitar made the butterflies disappear last night. I also took a couple Ginger Roots.......
As far as today went...I'm fine......3 hours since the Peg shot & 1 1/2 hours since taking Riba........I know I have a long way to go.
I'm not a zombie, but I used to like some of their songs.......
welcome to the forum. and good luck with tx. belle
welcome, geno type 2 also. Just finished treating 2 weeks ago and I believe that waiting and the anticipation is the hardest part. The thing that hit me the hardest was the anemia and that hit in mid January. Seems like all the you know what hit the fan in january.. not really that bad having to do just the two drugs I think being exhausted all the time was the worst. Get it going and get it done. Are you just doing 24 weeks? If so it will be over before you know it. Good Luck and Welcome!!!!
That is so awesome. Congratulations!!!!!
Greetings and welcome to the jungle. Just took my first dose. Did not sleep last night. You have my best wishes on your treatment. How fortunate you are to have found this site. Please keep us updated.
Welcome to treatment! I was just like you when I started six months ago, very jittery! But, tonight is my LAST injection, time went by quickly. Hang in there and keep coming back to the forum for help.

Before starting its normal to have butterfiles, once you get started things will be fine... If you have to have hep geno 2 is the type to have. Plenty of people here to help see you thru this, before you know it this will be over. Best of luck to you.......... Also the correct protocol for pcr testing is week 4 week 12 and EOT.
Good luck with treament. Hopfully you will not have to many side effect This is a good place for support.
Heavy butterflies...I hope I can sleep tonight......
thanks peeps, I'm sure I'll have more questions & will maybe squeeze into this community...
Welcome to the forum. Hope you have an easy tx with few sides. Waiting is the hard part. Best of luck as you get started.
I am on week 7 (and a half), and felt less jittery, after my 4 week blood test results, they will test yr viral load then, and at 8 wks, then 12 wks, then 24 wks, etc.
I didn't have too many side effects, from just the Peg and the Riba....the first three shots left my muscles really achey the next day, but when I stopped doing my usual heavy exercise, no more muscle aches. Everyone is different, but lots of people only have mild sx from Peg and Riba, so expect the best, but plan for the worst, etc. The Riba is to be taken with food, so I usually have bananas, peanut-butter and bread, and yogurt on hand, for a quick meal ...Riba absorbs better with some calories~
Geno type 2's fare very well as you most probably are already aware.
Good luck..and welcome to the farm..
Will.
