Jaundice- Please respond asap

Have any of you had experience with jaundice? With jaundice would the whole face be jaundiced or is it possible that just the skin around the temple area would be yellow? The eyes have red, yellow veiny look when looking to the sides, but parts of the sclera are still white particularly when looking up and down. How likely would it be to have jaundice if you've only been infected for six years? Stools are normal color and urine is light yellow to clear. If it was jaundice from hep c, would stools or urine be affected? I haven't been tested for Hep C but obviously am paranoid. Never used drugs. Only have professional tattoos.

Jaundice is serious stuff.  If you see yellowing of your skin or eyes you need treatment ASAP.    Liver disease doesn't follow timing on a calendar .  If your yellow go to the ER or call your Dr. now!

Hi there...just my advice to you....I would go and get tested for HCV to set your mind at ease.  I believe that more advanced liver disease would have light colored stools.  I have stage 3-4 fibrosis and have had virus for over 30yrs and have had dark urine only twice. So you say you are jaundice around the eyes? Everyone reacts to virus different, but I'm curious as to why the 6 yr question. Try the Mayo Clinic website/signs-symptoms.very reputable.

I'm not an expert, but if this happened to me I'd consider it a medical emergency and call my doctor right away-
