Labcorp Results - Is it done?

Well gang, I got the results of the Labcorp UltraQual today, effective qualitative good to 2IU/ML and that my friends is NEGATIVE!!!!! I am officially finished with tests, that makes 4 negatives to the one positive and I am considering myself SVR. Since that single positive taken at 6 months post tx, I have had a negative PCR at 6.5 months, a negative Heptimax and now a negative Labcorp UltraQual both done at 7 months post tx.

There is no virus here, nobody home, Virus has left the building!  Returned to Sender!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone, you have been great. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.  I am taking the holiday off to get my nervous system back in order.  I am not talking or thinking about tests until next summer.  Right now I am waiting for my testosterone patch to work - you can catch my act on the "Hypergonadism Forum" LOL.

Congratulations on being SVR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do I understand you right, that you were positive at your 6 month post PCR and then later came back neg.?
I also was UND until 2 months post tx but then relapsed.  I have not had another PCR done again.  Will probably do it in Jan or Feb.

Let me know if I understood you right.

Thanks Beagle

Congratulations! Indeed, consider yourself SVR but like the rest of us SVRs, of course test at the one and maybe two year post tx mark. You might even want to test at the 9 and 18 month post tx mark as well considering your test history. I threw a test in at the 9 month post-tx mark myself for added peace of mind. And, oh yeah -- lose that weight you said you were going to before all the good news!

All the best,

-- Jim

Fantastic News!!!!!!   Your doctor will be very enlightened by this whole scenario.  You were ready to be dumped in the relapser bin, and left to figure out what to do next!  But, your persistence and knowledge has taken you to where you are now:  Full SVR!!!!   I was pretty certain this was going to be the result, and now you can really go berserk with celebration.  You are done, indeed!!!!  The tests that you took really nail it down, with a loud 'bang'!!!!  Its GONE FOR GOOD.

I am very happy for you.  What a roller coaster ride to have to go through during the holidays.  At least the ride had a super enjoyable ending!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Lyrics by EH Harburg

"Ding-**** the witch is dead
Which old witch? The wicked witch
Ding-**** the wicked witch is dead
Wake up you sleepyhead
Rub your eyes, get out of bed
Wake up the wicked witch is dead
She's gone where the goblins go
Below - below - below
Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out
Ding ****' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low
Let them know the Wicked Witch is dead"

A very merry Christmas to you,

Bill
