Labcorp Results - Is it done?

Well gang, I got the results of the Labcorp UltraQual today, effective qualitative good to 2IU/ML and that my friends is NEGATIVE!!!!! I am officially finished with tests, that makes 4 negatives to the one positive and I am considering myself SVR. Since that single positive taken at 6 months post tx, I have had a negative PCR at 6.5 months, a negative Heptimax and now a negative Labcorp UltraQual both done at 7 months post tx.

There is no virus here, nobody home, Virus has left the building!  Returned to Sender!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone, you have been great. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.  I am taking the holiday off to get my nervous system back in order.  I am not talking or thinking about tests until next summer.  Right now I am waiting for my testosterone patch to work - you can catch my act on the "Hypergonadism Forum" LOL.

Wow, songs and everything, like a SVR festival!  Everybody should try this at least once: clear virus early, drag your way through your fourth treatment, stay cleared after treatment for six months - then suddenly be told you have relapsed.  Have your doctor act like she suspected it all the time.  Feel like your world has ended then, suddenly, get another test that shows you are clear.  Try to convince doc that this means something.  Doc says "positive is positive" call me in 3 months sucker.  Test again with same lab that showed relapse on chocolate stained lab report.  Get another negative test but dont trust it because there could be another mistake although lab report shows no food or coffee stains, decide the whole thing is conspiracy and that hepc doesnt exist at all!  Calm down and get another test recommended by guy who invented the test blowing out your lifetime health care coverage for blood testing -- with a resulting negative.

1 Year of Riba and Interferon with water, creams, nausia meds, ADs, co-pays, pain meds, lost wages, popsicles and cookies and internet access for MedHelp forum - $100,000.

Blood testing to confirm that you might have done it for nothing $10,000.

SVR and freedom from all of the above (except MedHelp) - priceless.

Thanks to all of you, you are in my prayers for sure.  Hope you never have to go through this scenario - check your positives twice and your negatives four times and keep your health insurance up to date.  Merry Christmas!
