It's results like you are having that lend me courage. Glad to know that you've had experience with this and that I can call on you. And, thanks for trailblazing.
Thanks for the laugh about the name!
Great news on being accepted into the Lambda study. I took my 24th injection of IL29 today. I hope it goes as good for you as it did me. Let me know if you have any questions.
Congratulations and bravo on the trial approval!
Now I understand your screen name :) ! Duh me!
Best of luck on 24 weeks and SVR! ~eureka
go luck with it or good luck with it your choice!
Sounds similar to the parameters of the one I am in. Go get em and go luck with it!!
I really hope that this study turns out to be great news for a lot of 1a's. I'll be on here to share my experience, and thanks for the good wishes.
It's my understanding that it's limited to 24 weeks - and if I don't clear by 12 I'm off of the study. Keeping my knees bent and my fingers crossed - and I look really funny in that position ;)).

Congrats on getting in to the trial. Do you tx for the 24.wk only or will it be extended to 48 depending on your results?
Oh that's great news for you! I can't wait to hear how it goes.

I'm 1a CC. The study is dealing only with 1a CC cases and they are trying to determine "the safety and effectiveness of PEG-rIL-29 when given with the standard dose of ribavirin for 24 weeks, compared to the standard 48 weeks of tx."
My numbers are good enough that I could wait on new drugs, and if this shouldn't work, no doubt, that's what I'll do. Feedback on two other Lambda trials with different parameters all look really good. We shall see...
Yes I would like to be updated, I'm curious. Are you only gonna be on tx for 24 weeks? What gtype are you?
