Can u b RIBA resistant?

I am geno 1B/ I am TT
I have heard that makes me possibly interfereon resistant

But does that also make me ribivarin resistant
Or is there another test for that?
Thank you C

I found an article regarding this...to be honest I tried to read it and understand it, but it made my head spin half way through...in case anyone is interested in reading it and can comprehend what it is saying, maybe you can summerize for me?

Thank you Will and Slideman
Yes Will I think you did give me info about Intfereon
And Inc
But Inc and Vic are 63% success for TT I believe, and so I think I want to wait for non interfereon combo

That said it seems to me the early result of those trials seem to fair better with ribivarin included with the new orals
That said I wondered if there is a test for ribivarin resistance

I would hope I didn't have that type also
And can be treated with a higher success rate with all oral plus RIBA

I have never heard of a test that measures sensitivity to Riba.  There are tests available that can measure concentration in the blood .however it is not done while treating (altho hresp is in a study that measured it). Having the TT allele as you know makes you somewhat less sensitive to Inf. ,however as slideman points out with one of the Daa's it is less of a concern..not totally irrelevant just less...
.Canydyce I believe I copied to you some months ago the ad-hoc analysis of treating with Inci as it pertains to having the TT allele..possibly I am mistaken.

best...
