Last test result

Last test results (was done in Mount Sinai liver des. center with hepatologist) showed that virus load went down from around 970000 to 480000.  Is this possible that the body may clear itself from the infection without tratment?  I first was diagnosed on the beginning of May, 2011, and the last test was done a month later.  No demage to liver (I had with me all blood test results starting from 2003). For genotype I should wait a few more days.

There is no reason to test your viral load monthly. Perhaps before treatment, but viral load will not change much over time except during treatment.
970000 to 480000?
Fluctuations in your viral load numbers that might appear to be quite large aren't much different unless the change is 1/100 or 100 times the previous value.
A 2 log drop is substantial as is common with treatment. A 2 log drop for you would be 970,000 to 9,700

Is this possible that the body may clear itself from the infection without tratment?
No. Only during the acute phase when you are expose to HCV can your body fight off the virus.

"No demage to liver (I had with me all blood test results starting from 2003)".
Blood test are not used to diagnose liver damage and disease. You need a liver biopsy to do that as any hepatologist will tell you.

I also agree with susies2010.Viral load does fluctuate. My Vl has gone from 10,000,000 to 8,000,000 to 17,000,000 and now back to 8,000,000.Its a high vl  but I am also stage 0.I guess if it ever got below 1,000,000 Id probably be thinking the same thing you are. Im more concerned about the stages than the VL-cindy

I know it seems like a big drop but it really isn't. Viral load can tend to fluctuate. The most likely time that a person clears the virus without treatment is durng the acute stage. That is during the first 6 months of exposure to the virus. That is when the liver enzymes are usually extremely high. Unfortunately it is almost impossible for the virus to be diagnosed in the acute stages as there are usually no symptoms. So the simple answer to your question is while anything can happen, you probably will not clear without treatment.
