Left side PAIN

Will start TX tomorrow first time, finally.  Standard P/C.  For years had symptoms and pinpoint low back pain and left bottom-end rib pain.  Also in this quadrant=pain. Nothing on Right.  Liver?  I just found new tests (beyond the basics) I would like to take-for carcinoid syndrome!  Ultrasound says OK?  All unsure what causes pain, even Hepotologists! so I should clear HCV first and then see?  Anybody similar pain?  Only have hypertension besides.  Aorta pressure?

spleen enlarged? spleen is on left side under rib area and is affected by HCV.

ditto that...my spleen enlarged and caused pain long before my liver enlarged and did.
the spleen is viral central.  

I'm not certain that would account for lower back pain, but lower back pain is common at any age especially 40 and up, wear and tear at L5/S1 is the most common complaint in most GP offices.

I said Ultrasound said spleen OK?  How reliable is an Ultrasound?  Yes, L5/S1 f******.  Part of confusion, as that causes pain radiating to Left.  Throw in Prostate problem too.  Oh, does HCV raise PSA???  thanks

sounds like you should a more extensive test like a CT scan or MRI of the abdoman & pelvic
