I know I have Hep C and have had it for a while.  How does one cope with the increasing fatigue (cronic by now), keep it from your employer, still feel like you're making a worthwhile contribution to the union and feel good as a man.  My wife has ALWAYS been very supportive, but I often feel my contribution should be more than a couple of hours work a couple days a week.  That seems to be all I'm capable of: how do I as a 58 year old man accept this situation.  Please, no trite answers as "deal with it".  I'm a graduate in psychology and feel I'm failing my calling.  This is most nefarious and underhanded disabling of diseases.

Comment and helpful advice is appreciated!

Thank you.

the bottom line is you need to get on board with a hepatologist and treat this disease if you want the chronic fatigue to go away. fatigue is probably the #1 symptom with HCV and can be debilitating. Best of luck
