Memory weakness

Hi all ... I am 6 months post tx (geno 3 , tx of 9 months ) . waiting for my PCR for confirming SVR.

During tx my memory power became weak and till now it hasnt improved at all. All other sx like weakness, fatigue, digestion problem, loss of hai, etc are decreasing day by day after the close of tx but mood swing and memory weakness are still the same.

Can anyone else experience this also?? I want to know whether its temporary or permanent and if temporary how long will it take to recover. is there any medicine or food which help to reduce this prob?

Great to see you around. (and Alijee) This is kind of like when we were all treating. Jan and Charm are also out playing. Cool!

I'm six months post. (waiting for results of my PCR) I have the same problem. Lots of holes in my memory and lots of vocabulary loss, in all five languages. It is really annoying. I sometimes have to look up some of the most commonly used words or call up my children for a word I can somehow only remember in Indonesian. I feel like a stupid a§§... really!

It started getting better after tx, but I have kind of come to a halt during the last month.

I'm working on a few things and will see if it helps. I started going to have a kind of lymph drainage therapy done. My therapist is using LPG system. My head felt a bit clearer, especially after my first session. I just have a feeling that the fog is also related to having too many toxins in the body and I feel that 6 months post is a good time to start to try get rid of them.

I definitely am starting to feel a difference in my body. The pain and weakness in my knees has gotten better. I will go to my third treatment this week. I'll let you guys know, if I can feel a difference in my brain.

Are you off ALL meds?  I thought I was still having memory issues from TX drugs and it turned out to be from my post-TX sleep med, Ambien.

All else normal except some digestive hanging on after 4 1/2 mos.

Hi... Nice to see you... yes after a long time i came here. Glad to know that your memory problem is reducing.... I can wait for ninth month :) Mine is not too severe like buring post etc but certainly not as good as before starting tx. In mood swing only 10-15% improvement in 6 months and m really concerned abt it.

Nice to know that your problems are reducing. I'll be touch with you...... Certainly we can do it together :)

Take cares..... Hugs

Hi scruples long time no see!

I have had more memory problems post than during  treatment been forgotten the owen several times burned at least two pots.

I´m nine months post i don´t know if its just imagination but I think my memory has been a little better the last two weeks.

As for the mood swings, much less than before!

My digestion aint good and thas a huge dissapointment because after first tx when i relapsed it was perfect 3-4 months post.

But also with that I have noticed a small improvement last couples of weeks.

I got to add I´m on medication LDN has been that for about two weeks that could be the reason I´m feeling better can also be the time, hang in there friend and keep in touch we will continue to help each other!!
