yes i am on thyroid medication, my thyroid was fine until tx. Just one of those things, I will deal with it as it comes.
My thyroid was also fried from the interferon-riba therapie. From normal THS I'v got THS from 75 in the 6th month. Somethimes I also have problem with swolow. I have Thyrax 75 mcg a day now.
Do you also have Thyrax of other medication?
Good luck to you.

Hi,I'm new at this board, but I have a thyroid condition (slow thyroid) and I also have Hep C ,my hair is falling out and I'm so tired all the time, also I have vascular problems with my legs, I can't taste and I am always constipated and I'm not on any meds yet, also my husband had a liver biopsy and got the results today which proved he is in stage 4 of cirrhosis,I am beside my self,I wanted to ask you if your thyroid condition is from your Hep C??HELP JoannF
I am praying that this will turn out to be a false alarm. I too love your outlook but want that nodule to be just that- a nodule! A doctor had found a nodule in my husband's lung a few years ago and it was nothing. I will be waiting for your update after the doctor. Also praying for your SVR.
Hugs,
G
Your attitude is excellent. That is one hard nut to take. I am really sorry for this unwanted surprise. That is a high price to pay beyond the side effects of tx. On Oprah I heard her with a Sage from India that spoke: "Every thing will be all right in the end" Oprah asked: "why is every thing not all right?" The answer was: "Because it is not the end". For some reason, this made sense for me and maybe for you. I guess it is hard to make sense of the unimaginable. Thank you for sharing your challenge. So glad you recognized and attended to this malaise. I had trouble with my throat and breathing as well thinking it was a side effect of tx. Your info is really important. Please check back. Good luck.
Thank you both for your support, I am trying very hard not to jump to conclusions and trying to stay very positive, love you guys you have been so sweet to answer my post...anne
Anne, try not to jump to any conclusions - easier said than done. Just take it one step at a time. Best of luck to you on your diagnosis and upcoming PCR. Let us know.
