Sorry about the soapbox speech there! I care and am wordy, to boot! hee hee.

Welcome to the Forum! You were smart to ask questions. You were given really good answers.
Also given excellent advice about NOT having unprotected (barrier type protection) sex.
Now you need to relax, take a deep breath, exhale and move on. The anxiety is not helping you.
ALSO, times are not like they were. It is no longer just the men who are responsible for proavtive protection behavior. Get condoms and have them available at all times! That way, you are never without the means for protection. If you partner has it, fine, if he doesn't -and you wish to continue, then you do!
Please notice I am not preaching 'don't have sex' as was preached to so many many of us 'senior' heppers. Times are different, but RESPONSIBILITY, good sense, and preparedness are the same as ever.
You have shown yourself to be a smat young woman. Carry it further, with all the suggestions and advice you have received here!
We care, and we DON'T want a single person more to have to go through what we did, even though treatments are now much shorter and have either no or much more bearable side effects.
Also, pass the word to all your friends to have an Hep C Antibody test! HepC is not a sexually transmitted disease, but there are so many cases from transfusions, IV drug use, tattoos, piercings, shared razors, toothbrushes, etc etc etc, still happening so the disease is still around. It is not an easy disease to get, I am not trying to scare people! Just get those exposed tested, and get those who do not have it to be careful in their personal habits and risky behaviors SO THAT THEY DO NOT GET IT! (not yelling here, just trying to emphasize).
Good luck and thank you for coming to the Forum and asking your questions! That shows me what a smart sensible young woman you are.
Blessings,
Pat
So then i shouldn't worry about hepatitis at all, and i did get tested for hiv including other std when they tested me for hepatitis. I got tested at 182 days, then i got tested again for hiv 3 months later . So i think i'm fine. I just get really anxious.
You should be more concerned about HIV and start making your partners use condoms.
Your vaccines have likely protected you from contracting hepatitis A and B. Hepatitis C is transmitted through exposure to blood that is infected with the hep C virus. There is no vaccine, as others have told you. You should always practice safer sex....use barrier protection. There are many other infections that are passed through unprotected sex.
We read a lot l.

Thank you so much for your response, i thought since i was vaccinated when i was born and younger that now that i am 21 the vaccines wouldn't work. Since i had those vaccines long time ago. How do you know so much, about this subject.
Brenda. If you were vaccinated for Hep A and B you have no concerns with those.
Having a cut does not put you at risk for the Hep C virus after you've touched a dirty floor.
Yes, 2 months is enough time from a sexual situation as you used protection.
No worries

Thank you very much for your response. So i didn't Have any risk of getting infected by having a cut. And how about hep a or b. If i got tested two months after sex. Can i get accurate results.
Hi Brenda. Very smart of you to get vaccinated for Hep A and B. Hep C is not a sexually transmitted disease but rather from blood to blood contact. Touching a dirty floor with a cut on your finger will not give you Hep C so therefore you are fine. If that were the case everyone that had a cut and went outside would be walking around with the virus.
The scenario in which you explained would give you no reason for you to worry about contracting Hep C. Should you have sexual relations in the future, protection would be advised as there are other illnesses that can be transmitted.
My best
.....Kim
