Muscel cramps

I have been diagnosed with HCV for 8 years
In the last year I have been gettin bad crams in my legs, arms hand and jaw when I yawn. Some in my leg so hard it feels like the muscel will tear!
Is this a typical HCV symptom?

It was for me.  In fact just remembering the calf cramps and arms cramps is the most vivid memory of end stage liver disease from cirrhosis caused by HCV (that and the incredible brain fog that at the end made me unable to work)..  I had many a night where the pain was so intense I yelled in agony for sometimes and hour at a time.

Took pain pills once, no help, didn't even touch the pain.

My gastro doc gave me every pill to reduce this effect that he could find and unfortunately nothing worked.  I use to get them just as I was falling asleep, and it happened almost every night until I got my transplant.

I am 13 moths post LT and feel 100% better.

Not particularly.  I think that muscle aches and joint aches are common sypmtoms of HCV but so hard that it feels that your muscles will tear?  What about vitamin deficiencies?  Potasium?  What about excercise level?  Electrolytes?

Have you had a biopsy?  Do you know the shape of your liver?  Have you ever considered treatment?
