Not sure why but i will take it .

I treated 72 weeks of infergen and riba on my 6th try. I was undetectable after 4 weeks.  Got my 4 week post results and the virus was back, so I went on maintenance. Stayed on Peg (no riba) for over a year. I stopped maintenance to try to get into a trial. After 4 weeks I tested positive for the virus again. (211,000). I did not get into the trial I wanted. Had a biopsy and mri and found out my liver improved from stage 4 to 3 and my spleen was back to its normal size. Decided to go back on maintenance but my insurance would no longer pay for maintenance. They did however approve 72 more weeks of SOC. Got my meds and drew blood for my baseline and was getting ready to start. I got a call from the doctor and was told not to start that may baseline came back undetectable. Retested after 3 weeks and still undetectable . So the interferon sits in the fridge and I am going to get tested every 2 months for the next year. Hope it is still in the fridge a year from now. Do not know why this happened but after 10 years of treating I will take SVR anyway it comes.

Your post made me cry (happy tears :-)..;  like I'm witnessing a Miracle.  This is amazing;  it must be so strange when you open the fridge;  I look forward to hearing that your fridge is a 'food only' fridge - congrats on such an unexpected result...
