Make sure your getting lots of vitamin C.  It sounds like the drugs have effected your immune system and your gums are bleeding.   You might have a infection in your gums and would account for the colors your describing.
Let us know what your dentist says.   Seeing the dentist before and after drug treatments like this could save your teeth.

Best of luck at the dentist.

FYI:  Vitamin C really helps your gums.

Great!  Sounds like you've got it covered.  I'm so glad you saw the Dr and are still going to see the dentist.  Many wind up having dental problems from the dry mouth, so, even if the meds did cause the coloration, it's good the dentist is going to check you out, too.

Hi patra, I managed to visit my doctor and he said, that this could be from drugs reaction, he told me to wait a bit and see maybe it will clear. Also I am going to visit dentist on Monday so will see what he will say.

I see Sandi covered the issue as well as I could have.  She is spot on.  How is your dentist? Can you call and ask the receptionist to check and see if that is a situation relating to your dental, and, if so, do you need to be seen soon?  My dental office would give and informal answer.  Some won't until they see you.  It won't be long til Nov, so that's a help.  I, personally, have never heard of that situation, but then, there really are more thing on earth and in heaven than I have every heard of or will ever hear of, so can't express an informed opinion.

Sorry not to be more help.  Others will probably have a taken on this, but this is not a chat room, so it may take a few days before you hear anything, even if someone has experienced that as, not every one is on the Forum every day.

Just a guess could be an infection, you should see your doctor sooner rather than later I would recommend.

Hi hepc4Sandi I will check with my doctor, but planned visit with doctor is booked end of November, so thought maybe someone had symptoms like me and know what it could be - is it serious or just like you said some dental or sinus infection.

Hi John, I think that our immune systems take a big dive after Tx after being jacked up for 12 weeks, it happened with me. If could be a sinus infection, also dental issues happen during and after Tx, so check with your doctor.

hi and welcome to the Forum.

Sorry, I have no information concerning your question.  Do you have Hepatitis C?

If not, you might want to try posting your question in the General Health - or even the Dental Health Communities.

Just go to the top of this thread, up to where it says Communities, touch that button.  When the list comes up (you might have to touch it a second time if it just gives you a blue 'shortlist' right there at the top), look down the lists to fine General Health and/or Dental Health.

Good luck on finding an answer.
