I am in my 5th week of treatment with incivek, Pegasus , and ribiviron . I am having a herpes out break does anyone know if I can take Zovirax along with these other meds.

Thanks so much ... I did call my doctor and he said to take the zovirax. He also I would need to continue to take it for the duration of treatment.

I had the same thing happen and my Dr said I could take the zoverax

Pre tx I had average one outbreak a  year. Since being on tx I have had about one every ten days. They are shorter in duration but it's one more thing to deal with. I thought about taking  the meds but I can't add one more. I am hoping they level out with time, I am doing shot ten tonight.  Good luck. Mo

At Drugs.com no interactions between Pegasys, Ribavirin, Incivek and Acyclovir (Valtrex) were found.
