Pain medication

Can I please hear from some of you as to what you are taking to manage the terrible body aches and pain.
It seems as if the good days are ones where I am not in as much pain.
Opinions??

Exactly how I feel, but I let him yuck it up - nice to see him feel good. Dog's swinging on You Tube also seems to work.... go figure!

Tylenol extra strength for hubby on Bocep Tx. Although he likes to be "tough" and prefers not to take any if he can stand it. He also takes lots of naps when feeling bad. And one of the best medicines he takes: laughter. I know that sounds corny - but I encourage him to watch all those America's Funniest....videos and stuff because he laughs and laughs, and always feels better.

PS - no beating Gold Bond lotion in the green bottle for the itchy skin!

Hi Portann,
I am in week 11.  My last lads were at week 8.
I do not know what ANC is. I looked at my lab results. Please clarify.
Hugs.

I used Tylenol (acetaminophen) as well, as recommended by both my GI doc and my hepatologist. For patients with more advanced liver disease in particular, acetaminophen is generally preferred over aspirin or NSAID drugs because it doesn’t affect the blood’s ability to clot, and likely causes less stomach irritation.

I used Tylenol  for my bone pain, not more than 2000 mg per 24 hours. That's what my hepa told me to take but some people take Ibuprofen.

What week are you in and what is your ANC count?
