Post Tx Sx's?

My final day of Tx was last Friday. Most of the old sides are still around, but also a few new ones. Most of the new ones are digestion related. The brain fog seems worse too. Is this a side of ending Tx, or do I have something else going on now? Any body else have

Sorry you are hurting.  Autoimmune diseases are all treated with immunosuppressants, to shut down the attacking immune system.  Humira aand Areva can also destroy platelets, not good when combined with another platelet suppressor.  Hep C cure requires a highly activated immune system.  I see pain killers in your future.

First of all congratulations on finishing tx. Believe it or not that is a big accomplishment. I have met so many people that have been unable to finish due to the sides. Hang in there the first couple of weeks after tx are the worst then it should be smooth sailing

Like sldb said some sides can take up to 6 months for the interferon to get out of your system., and then there are cases like mine (I treated twice for 1A) who will have life long side effects to name a few.... bone loss, hypothroidism, psoriasis, and psoriatic arthritis, chronic pain,  but I DO NOT have hep c any longer

Sides from tx can take up to six mths to go away, I believe that is how long it takes Interferon to get out of your system. I had alot of gi systems towards the end of tx. and ended up with an ulcer (not sure if related to riba).  I now take nexium and gi symptoms are gone .  Congratulations on finishing tx. You will start feeling alot better soon!
