I had a horrendous rash on my left buttock.  Tried every thing, finally sent a picture to the NP and she called in an Rx for clobestal.  Cleared in 4 days and has not returned.  Very important to keep your back well lubricated.  Hope you find some relief.

In addition to the great advice already given, try to avoid allowing those itchy areas to get warm and sweaty.  Also, hot showers may feel great during, but will aggravate the rash.  Soft fabrics against the skin help too.  Hydrocortisone creams, antihistamines and drinking lots of water help to keep my rash under control.  Don't wait too long before seeing a dermatologist, since rashes can be a major game changer.  You've come too far to have any interruptions in trt.  Hope it calms for you.

The best advice I can give is to go to a dermatologist.I started with rash in 11th wk of tx and I'm now in the middle of wk 17.Nothing about the rash has changed except I don't have terrible itching, its mangeable. The rash seems to change its intensity regularly.I went to Derma doc and got topical steroid spray.I use it for one week on than give it a break for a week. Its called Clobex spray. The spray will help to control real hot red spots, but its not going to get rid of it.Unless you become less sensitive to the meds.By going to Derma you have the opportunity of getting a steroid shot or Iv should it become out of control, ie swelling, blistering. My rash is on apox 70% of my body at all times.Just one more thing we have to live with for now.For itching I had used claratin, atarax, benedryl and a number of lotions- gold bond, sarna, hydro cortisone.Go see a doc you may have it for a while unless you lose it because your off Incvk.Good luck  Toby

My husband takes Hydroxyzine  HCL (a strong antihistamine) and uses Triamcinolone (an ointment) when the rash is bad.  Both are prescriptions.  He also uses Eucerin body wash in the shower and Eucerin cream after the shower.  When he had blisters on his back due to the rash, we put tea tree oil on them.  I have also heard people say that pressing the itchy area up against a cold surface, stepping outside, standing in front of a fan, and putting ice on it helps.  If I remember correctly from your previous posts, you are almost finished with the Incivek.  Hopefully the rash will improve when you're done with that med.
