Cant stop Anti Depression

I remained on half doze (5mg) of regular doz (10mg) of escitalopram. It was very helpfull during tx. 3 weeks post tx, im try to stop it but it is making problems. I m feeling too much dizziness every time and affraid to walk, as i feel will fell down. How is it possible to stop AD????

My nurse advised me to stay on them up to 3 months post tx.  All the other drugs are still in your body and take up to 6 months to clear them.  It's very important not to just stop ADs, you need to step them down gradually over a period of time.  Definitely get guidance from your doc.

why not try taking half of the 5mg may be hard to cut it in half but try just taking a small piece for a while then see if you can stop  you have to slowly wean your self
but are you sure you want to stop now  I would think they take at least a month to really work and people feel so good they think they do not need them anymore and stop too soon  I don't know you should check with your doctor but taking small amounts may help   baja
