diabetes & hepatitis c treatment

my dad is recently diagnosed as a case of liver cirrhosis due to hep c infection.he is diabetic for more than 1yr.i want to know how to cope with these two disease?is it hard to maintain standard blood sugar in hep c?my dad take oral hypoglycemic agnts.he is also hypertensive currently taking osartil.

Hello, I had HCV and have diabetes.  I was able to treat the virus while controlling my sugar.  Sometimes the diabetes can be a impacted of having the HCV and/or a damaged liver however it can still be controlled.  The above member had a good idea for you to do a search.  It is right next to where you posted your question.

Type this in that box for more info "Diabetes Medicine while cirrhosis but
compensated".  Remember that people on this forum aren't doctors. We don't
know your Dad's condition of his liver either.  Read the referenced posts and
I'm sure others will give you more information.
