you are doing the right thing...I had more questions after the class then prior but they will link you up to phone numbers and websites to help. My doctor encourages reading and researching. That is what both me to this learned group of people.
It's important to take vitamin D while doing tx. There's research showing it improving SVR rates. Also drinking more than 3 cups of coffee can help too.
You should definitely ask your doctor about taking calcium, tx is hard on the bones as is liver disease.

I am waiting to hear back from Dr office on date of class. They are in process of setting everything up, so I'm a little anxious with lots of questions. I'm sure when I go to class, they will overwhelm me with info, but I also figure those going through the treatment will have even more to offer. thank you.
when I went to the tx clinic they gave you printed materials, a book, a web address, help number from the drug rep and our clinical coordinator gave us her email and phone number to call at any time with questions. aren't you getting this type of support from whoever is prescribing this for you?
