I was doing great the first 2 weeks and now 5 weeks into it I have a friggin rash that is driving me crazy. I know I am just getting started but I understand about loosing my motivation. I can't go out in the sunlight and always seem to want to lie down. I am now anemic but my NP wants to wait 2 weeks to see if it changes before giving me Procrit.
Hang in their buddy, it helps me to hear others vent so I know I am not alone in this.
Are you treating? What do you feel like, look like? How does food taste?
Now before you smack the **** out of me, JUST KIDDING!!! Keep a smile on that pretty face. Believe me i know how you feel. Just try and go one day at a time and before you know it it WILL be over and you'll be SVR. Feel free to vent anytime.
Wishing you the very best
cando.... and so can you :)
I am half way on 24 weeks tx (type B 2) Some weeks all horrible side effects come out, other weeks- full of energy. Had bad-ish sx earlier, but then it is hard to say if it is over- another 3 month to go. Hair falls out- had to cut it short- which in my case always suit me better anyway, so everyone loves it.Only good news- docs said I am UMD since 4 weeks on tx! So when I am down, I look at it as temporary thing, even when it is very hard. I changed jobs and forced to live apart from my husband all week and when he comes home on weekends, I have to work most of the nights. This triggers depression alright, but is the tx making it worse?? HMMMMMMMM
oh yeah, itching is awful, injection sites are swallen, like scars, dry mouth and hoarse throat, brain fog, fatigueness- the lot. Today I had my driving test with all of them together plus blood pressure isuues and moods. No wonder I failed (on a stupid little thing)
I wish you feel better soon, then it is easier- you know it is only a wave, just stay calm and wait for it to go. You'll get through it. Iread that people are only given challenges in life they can overcome. So these are our challenges and we can do it!!!!
