Telaprevir, where are we?

Will Telaprevir go to market?

At my last week's appointment my doc mentioned they had a meeting regarding telaprevir, and that before they were promised to get it by the end of this year, yet at the meeting became clear it will take at least one more year of waiting... But the trials look REALLY good, very promising

Just heard from my study doc, that they think it might be out earlier in 2011, maybe a year from now.

Last I heard they were working to finalize the PI and establish pricing.  PI will require FDA approval, pricing is another story.

I am on shot 45.  did get telaprevir (rash) and have cleared the virus so far.  Were you on the Ralize trial?

I just finished theTelaprevir trail, still blinded but cleared the virus.  I suspect I received Telaprevir.

Last time I saw anything about it, Vertex was going for FDA approval in late 2010 and approval takes about a year.

Not a moment too soon. there are lots of us waiting for it
