Telaprivir benefits

I have had HCV (gen 1) for about 33 years.  I was treated with Peg & Rivo 6 years ago.  While I could not get rid of the virus, my liver enzymes are normal.  I am 57 years old, and my question is, would the new Vertex telaprivir therapy be worth my while.  Most of the time I feel ok, but I often wonder if I would feel better if I was able to get rid of the virus.

When was your last biopsy and what did it say? That's pretty much the only way to really know how well your liver is holding up (or not) enzymes can be a good predictor but are not necessarily always an indicator if you are getting worse liver damage.

Once you know if you have to treat it makes a huge difference in the decision.
