Teleprevir studies?

Anyone know what's going on with these studies in Northern CA?  I called the doctor Monday, then I got a bill for 7 bucks or something for copies, second bill I got.  Is that good news, doctor still hasn't called me back yet.  Are there more than one Phase III studies, like this.  Like is there several types of Phase III studies?  Thanks for looking, I feel like there's a party going on and I wasn't invited.  lol

I know!  After talking to the nurse today, I thought about the last time you and I "spoke"  and thought -ok, I'm good with fret's 6 month plan!!

I'm not very patient, but I am learning! :-)

Yeah I got a return call from the nurse today, she told me the same thing as you wrote.  She asked me about my prescription drug intake and then she said that I would get a consent form and then I would come in for screening.  Finally, I feel validated!!  I can stop twiddlin' my thumbs and get back to living life like a regular person.  Dang, yesterday I was sick of waiting, when I start tx I'll wanna be off of it, the contradictions of a person with hepC are difficult to deal with, but I can hang.  I'm very lucky to have found this forum, I hope to post how it goes.  later

I don't know Fret, but if I do get into the study down here of FL, and am in the SOC only arm, I will feel like I got invited to a party and then had to do all the work!!  :-)

I am supposed to get the consent form around the 2nd week of May and then go thru the screening process, so I would think that you still have time to get in if you find someplace participating by you.

Please keep us posted.

They are suppose to start sometime in May. I would go there in person and talk to the trial nurse or coordinater. Sounds like you got the consent forms? dont understand why you would get charged for the forms, maybe it is a Ca thing :-)
