I have very strange dreams, have intermittent sleep & wake up with what feels like a hangover.....the chemical smell is still there too. The smell is extremely strong 2 hours after the shot......

I AM WEEK 17/24 AND HAVE NOT SLEPT HARDLY ANY MAYBE 3 HOURS. SO VERY TIRED WORN OUT WEEK FATIGUE AND  FEEL LIKE  I CANT DO ANYTHING . LEGS ARE LIKE JELLY. I GET OUT CHAIR AND MAKE MYSELF WALK  AND TRY TO MOVE. THE RIB   EVERY TIME  I TAKE IT WITHOUT 1 HOUR AFTER I TAKE IT GET LOW GRADE FEVER . BUT SOME HOW GOD IS SEEING ME THROUGH THIS AND i WILL MAKE IT.  HAD THAT FOUL TASTE ALL THE  TIME APPITITE *****. JUST  DONT GIVE UP LOT GOOD SUPPORT HERE.

Once we switched my second ribavirin dosage to earlier in the day, I had no problem.
Like everything else with both hep C and the treatment, different people react differently.

For nausea, ginger works well, in many forms, from raw ginger root, tea, ginger ale and ginger chew candies.

Ambien was needed. Slept from 12 to 5am. But I took knock out naps everyday couldn't help it basically passed out.

On treatment full of ribavirin...what sleep? Didnt sleep a bit only the ambien knocked me out for a few hours.

I slept like a baby.
But my friend that has hcv, hcc. Cant sleep @ all. I guess he will be like this till his death.

sleep what is that? No really I didn't sleep but maybe 2 hrs a night and I was extremely mad all the time,bless my husbands heart for putting up with me. Ask your doc for something to help.

My husband had a real hard time sleeping he was lucky to get 3 hrs a night told his dr and dr prescribed him ambien now he sleeps well not great but alot better

i could get to sleep at between 330 am and 430 am...to much itching to sleep...don't wear polyester..wash all cloths in water...bedding too...don't take hot showers...clothing that could breath well was best for me...cotton..you may gag a lot...for coughing maybe have a spray bottle with water near the bed...for gaging i had to take zofran..it worked great for me....i wish i had tried advill pm ..after tx i still couldn't sleep for the first couple weeks then i took the advill pm and had very little trouble..it was great!....billy

I have had about 4 sleepless nights out of 11 weeks...not bad. benedryl helps me to sleep. I got a prescription but found out it was a benzo that could give me withdrawals if I stopped it so I only took it once and decided to only use it if its been a couple nights without sleep. Going to bed with a ful inc tummy and waking up to more fat has been a challenge. but I'm almost done with that part!

Only on Saturday mornings from 2 AM to 8 AM after the peg injection on Friday. I have strange, uncomfortable, repetitive dreams and keep waking up, although I'm very tired.

Otherwise I sleep well.
