I'm so sorry to hear about your family dog.  Hopefully some of your husband's symptoms being alleviated has helped to make both him and you more comfortable.

I'm wishing you both the best of luck in Toronto -- hopefully it is not too much of a travel for you.  My husband has gone through TP evaluation in the past, and although the process takes some time and effort, don't let it overwhelm you... just take it one step at a time.  Take care of yourself, and keep us posted. ~eureka

Best of luck to you both!!!

You night want to call to find out what the meeting is about. Since they haven't prepared you it is probably more informational on their part.

If this a Phase I Evaluation:
This may be an introduction meeting that talks about the services the TP center provides. They will give you lots of stuff to read.

At some point they will ask you....
They will probably being asking about his social support person, you Linda.
They will probably being asking about Medical Insurance.
They may do an Ultrasound of the abdomen. So no eat/drink before hand.
Review of Medical History Questionnaire.

45 minutes isn't that long. If you have any questions/concerns write them down so you don't forget in the moment. There should be time for you to ask at some point.

At some point you will meet with
Transplant Coordinator
hepatologist
transplant surgeon
transplant social worker
transplant financial counselor

Any help I can offer let me know. I've been through 2 transplant listings at this point.
