risk or no risk for hep c?

I went through the drive thru at a local fast food place the other day. as I was at the window i noticed some blood on the  workers hand. I tried to not think about it and continued on my way and ate the food. my concern is that if it was blood it could have gotten on the bags etc or on my car, and i know that hep c can live for multiple days. I have some cuts on my arms and fingers and am concerned that i could touch wherever there may be blood in my car. thanks

There is a theoretical risk, which translates in real life to practically zero. You are more likely to be killed my a gunman or a car accident while pulling out of the drivethru. Hepatitis C does not typically transmit even in extended intimate relationships like marriage, even after many years of unprotected sex.

BTW you are not in need of OCD counselling, your dietary and supplement choices appear well researched and sensible, altho I suggest u be mindfull of dosages, less is more for heppers. Be carefull, especially of fat soluble vitamins like D, it can raise ALT substantially in larger doses, which people with healthy livers would benefit from. I stay below 200 IU/day from all sources. I personally tolerate sunlight in small, regular, amounts better than the pills.

Congratulations on your SVR. I love to hear stories like yours.
