How often do you inject procrit? And, how much each time?  I guess that you are closer to the hematologist?
If you are not going to the hematologist at least once every 2 weeks, you should try to.  In most hematologist offices you don't have to see the doctor every time.  You should be able to go in and have a technician draw your blood and process it.  Then, they should be able to tell you how much procrit you should be using.
Do you test your blood sugar yourself - I guess that's what you use the novalin for, diabetes?

You may not have been overdosed.  All these drugs are very strong and their effects can be very difficult, as you know.  It seems that you are on the right dose of PegIntron (redipen) and ribavirin.  Again, the difficulty is probably the ribavirin and getting the right does of procrit.

I just looked at the dosing for Redipen. Are you still using the 120 mcg pen?  And what number do you dial at the end of the pen?

I'm sorry for so many messages to you.  Redi pens come in many pre-filled doses 50, 80, 120 and 150.

'm sorry for so many messages to you. Redi pens come in many pre-filled doses 50, 80, 120 and 150. It looks like the right one for your weight would be the 80 and you would inject with the dial set at 4.  Since you are using the 120, setting the dial somewhere between 3 and 4 should be about right, but not the best situation.  You might talk to your doctor about this - it may be better to get the right amount of interferon for your weight - which would be the 80 mcg pen.  How do you get the redipens, do they come from your doctor or from a pharmacy.  Can you get the nurse in the doctor office to talk with you about it?
