Chances of positive HCV.

Dear members,
I have donated blood on 4th Oct 2012 and after a month i had received a letter that i have possible exposure to HCV and found positive to screening test(ECI technique).
After this report i consulted to a senior physician and he ask for re-test screening, liver test, Vit D, and ultrasound as he is not sure with test method of blood bank.
My report are as follows:
1) Liver test-----Normal
2) Anti-HCV (CMIA) Screening Test------Negative(0.09 Index)
3) Vit D, 25 Hydroxy serum--------------------11.00nmol/L
4) Hemogram(VCS Tech)------------------------Normal
5) Chest X-RAY-----------------------------------Normal
6) Abdominal Ultra Sound---------------------Mild Splenomegaly(125mm) shows normal echotexture other organ normal and no abnormality seen.

Dear Sir, i want your valuable input as i am having mild pain under left lower ribs & want a clear scene of my health status and what to do.

I am male of age 28 years. Never had any of below:
Blood transfusion.
Drugs / Smoke / Alcohol
Casual Sex.
Which report to rely on First ECI technique or CMIA for screening HCV.
and what about symptoms of spleen(122mm) & low Vitamin D.

Greetings ~ just want to say in advance there are no experts here on the forum. Sometimes it is not just the assay of the test used; when your suspected exposure to the virus occurred could play a small role in the timing and the results.

The Red Cross site says they use enzyme-linked, immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Here is a chart that shows various HCV Antibody assays.
