I would have to ditto your shot experience. Thursday night shot, accupuncture first thing friday morning and then gt through my work day. Saturday ans sunday are my slower days to sleep extra and with more self care...mondays i feel almost back but ready for my work day and normal by thursday morning to start the run again...not so bad really. At halfway point of week 10 getting close to giving up the incivek portion of the meds. oh happy day;)
I had to force feed since day one of treatment. Lived on bananas, rice with chicken broth and bananas. Don't know how I got down my 20 g of fat 3X a day. Some days that is all I ate was the fat. I actually lost twenty lbs since I started treatment. When I was done with incivek low and behold I got my appetite back.
My worse day was always saturday in which I did my shot on Thursday night. Sunday was also bad and by monday I would start to bounce back. When I felt better I ate better. My weight stayed pretty much the same with tx.
Thank you, it just seems like the days I feel worn out ( like today) took my shot last night, I want to eat, like it's going to help me feel better. I wonder if it's my body actualy craving something it needs?
I can only speak for me but during tx I had to force myself to eat. Having to eat all that fat with the Incivek kept me feeling full.
During my first tx with the Inf and Riba I did not feel like eating and in fact lost weight.
Hope you are doing ok
My goal on this Tx is to always eat well-balanced, but on the tired days, I dont shop, and my diet does slip. But I always do feel better, when I eat, eat, eat,on this Tx. But I have only gained about 6 pounds...I still fit the clothes, lol.
If I dont eat, then I do lose my appetite. But when I eat, then I want to eat more...sometimes I think the meds do make me more hungry than I used to be, and it is getting expensive.
Dont forget to drink your extra water, on those tired days. This week, my shot mad my knees achey. When I first started, it made my back achey. I never know where I am gonna be tired/achey, after the shot. And some weeks, I havent been achey. I'm just glad I dont get a head-ache anymore (knock on wood)
Bottom-line....I say, treat yourself to something nice, like a fancy brunch!
