4 Week prelim results, question

My doc just called and told me that although the offsite lab results are still a week away, they do a less sensitive test onsite and it came back as 7 UND.  She said she still needs to get the results back from the other lab, but is cautiously optimistic.  She said she has seen the less sensitive test come back UND, and the more sensitive test go the other way, but very rarely.  Should I be excited??  Anyone else have this happen?

I think you can be optimistic and excited, while still knowing it is not 100% sure that it is UND.

My 4 week came back <43 but detectable.

I was not thrilled that I was detectable, but I was thrilled that I was under 1000 and thus able to continue treatment. I was also thrilled it was <43 and not 999, lol.

So I guess one has to look at what is positive about the news and go with that. Either way, you can continue treatment AND if the VL comes back detectable, it is very low.

I have my fingers crossed that it will be UND.
