Congrats Sandi!
Keep us posted about your status.
I like to believe that the data pool is still quite small for this treatment and that is why I can't get any info about those patients who are undetected but relapse after EOT but hoping that we all attain SVR
And then on to the next task of trying to undo or at least mitigate the damage that the disease has wrought
Can't wait for treatment to end. I figured out today how best to describe how this treatment makes me feel - like having a Huge hangover!
Though I haven't had a hangover in years, I kinda remember how this feels with the headache, body aches, dizziness, fatigue
Unfortunately, can't take a couple of Advil to make it all go away
So happy for you, in less than a few weeks I will go to get labs done for my Sovalid Olysio treatment (it will be the 4 week mark) I hope to hear the same news, you must be over the moon!!! Hearty congrats!!!!
Congratulations! I have also joined the UND team!
I am 7 days post EOT. Just got back from my EOT meeting with my doctor today—and I am also UND!
The HCV RNA QN test using COBAS® TagMan® HCV, v.2.0 (limit of detection (LOD) and LLOQ is 15 IU/mL) HCV Not Detected.
ALT is 41, AST is 50.
HGB 10.3 / Platelets 139 / WBC 2.4
Hope to see great UNDs at 1, 3 and 6 post Tx tests!
GO DRAGON SLAYERS!!!!!!!!!—Sandi
Lol...love your sense of humor. I know you must have followed the directions patiently. Very happy for you. Stay strong.
CONGRATULATIONS...CONGRATULATIONS...ENJOY!
Sending good thought your way Sandi!
Undetected! Congratulations, I hope to have the same news next week for my end of treatment meeting with my doctor.
Thanks everyone
I have been so ecstatic and, when i received the news, well, weepy too. I sometimes forget the emotional toll on everyone - family, friends, everyone who is undergoing treatment because we are all trying to be strong and resourceful
And the email from my doc was so dispassionate:
"Greetings
There was no Hep C virus detected in the blood on April 28, 2014. The next lab tests are due on June 13, 2014"
I'll take it though!
and
I will insist on the "letter" after my 3 and 6 month labs that I will frame and surround with my empty Sovaldi/Olysio bottles that I have bedazzled with bright ribbons
Congratulations! Hey, you may need to change your screen name. :)
That is wonderful...it really is an amazing word that means so much to those who are waiting to hear it. Congrats!
