Where is the INR line on my labs

I'm trying to calculate my Meld score and I'm missing one entry. I'm missing the INR. I figured it must be 1.2 but that's a guess. Is it on every set of lab reports or just the ones that are for MELD?
It makes no sense that my last labs in June say I have a MELD of 8 when I have had several bleed-outs and have portal hypertension, cirrhosis, and varices with spleen issues.
Any thoughts on this?

Thank You Kim. You made my day. I was feeling bummed at half-way through tx on S/O. I think Dee and Ruby are right. It's probably a separate test for me.
So I'll hope for a MELD of 6 after SVR 12.
Thanks everyone.

I was preparing to die and now I have to think about living and a possible future. Sounds easy but it's not.

On my treatment lab orders, it shows PT/INR as a separate test from CBC and CMP so the doctor must have to specify a particular test for INR. My best guess. :)

Hi there, every lab is different but when the doctor had mine tested it appeared by itself on the lab work, i.e. on another sheet of paper.
Is it possible that they did not check your INR?
It would be near your PT or PTT if that was tested
Good luck

I just took a peek at my lab results to see where the INR fell into place.  On mine it appears right below the ProTime.  To give you an idea of what your score could be my ProTime was 14.4, and my INR was 1.  My current Meld Score is now a 6.  I checked what it indicated when my Meld was 8, and then
It was 1.2, but that also depends what the Bili and Creatine #s were also. All my labs did include the INR.
It is not uncommon to have a low Meld with all of the extenuating circumstances that you have.  You can still have bleeding varicies, portal hypertension, and various other liver related issues including cirrhosis.
Since your checking your Meld, thought I might share some info regarding mine.  Prior to starting Tx I was an 8.  After reaching SVR12, it went down to
a 6.  Soooooo happy since its showing rejuvenation.   Yes.....
Am also cirrhotic with varicies and low platelets.
Just think what you hopefully will look forward to when you reach SVR12?
Keep the faith!
.....Kim
