Hep C Virus Ab

I'm a bit confused about my test, now I have read everyone's questions on the matter and mines is a little different. My results shows <0.1  my normal range is 0.0-0.9 and the units is s/co ratio, what does all that mean and could this be explained as simple as possible. My question is do I have Hep C.or not.

I agree with hrsepwrguy. You are clearly negative and show absolutely no signs of any exposure. Not even close.

Best to you

"Sounds like you have been exposed."

No, it does not, a result of <0.1 is as low as the test will show on the report.

@HCB your result is clearly negative and shows absolutely no signs of any exposure

Sounds like you have been exposed. It might resolve in about six weeks, if not, you have to be rechecked every 3 to 6 months to make sure you do NOT have a chronic infection.
