Liver problem

My brother is diagnosed with Hepatitis B but he is getting some treatments right now. His liver function is back to normal range. I am living with him and my sister in law for the past 5 years but during those years, I didn't know he had the disease until recently when I told him that i am experiencing some problem with  my liver
My question is can I get the disease by sharing food with them and also if so, it has been 5 years already, can I still get treatment shots to cure my liver? and will it  be back to normal?
I am experiencing pain on my right side of the waist area and my eye lids are getting darker.. it looks like bruises and it starts from the tip of the eye to the the entire eye lids. Are those some of the symptoms for liver problem?
I am very confused right now.

This is a hepatitis C support forum.  The folks on the hep B site may be more useful to you.

I can still tell you that no, you absolutely can't get hepatitis b or c from sharing a dinner table, they require much more intimate contact.  The Liver is tucked up under your ribcage on the right side, so your pain is not liver pain.  Go see an internal medicine doctor or a gastroenterologist and find out what's going on with you.
