also....congratulations on your New York Football Giants! What an uplifting game, and what a treat to see the evil empire get spanked! ............ I must stay with my roots here and say one thing though .... GO STEELERS! (but congrats Giants ;-)

hmm.... inexperienced user.... sorry about that, I also noticed i posted my question 5 times, not trying to be obnoxious there, didnt think it went through haha, thank you so much, it really means so much to hear from somebody with such an optimistic outlook, and I found your words to be very encouraging, its incredibly heartwarming to know so many wonderful people are out here supporting each other. Right now its a little hard for me to show the same strength as yourself, but its something that I am working very hard at, and I feel is coming. Thank you again and love

Hi, there is a wealth of info on good hep c lifestyles, etc etc...I'd take a gander at the archives if I were you...youre really young, youre probably in good shape I'd wager...but if I were you, I'd do just a lot of reading, reading, reading...I know it's nicer to just ask questions and have them answered, but there are so many different scenarios, etc that if youre new to this game, you can learn a lot by just reading archives...

and try not to project other people's stories on to yourself, if you're 40 you're young at this board, so do the math, most of us have had this for a very long time and are in our 40's and 50's, it's going to naturally play out differently for us...

so don't think because you read some nightmare, that this is going to be your fate...that person probably has a whole different story then you have, you being so young...just take really good care of yourself, plenty of good, clean water and fresh air...good, healthy food, exercise, meditating or things like that to calm the mind, yoga, etc...especially if you've been dealing with stress with things like a little booze now and then, it's a good thing that you can substitute a healthy lifestyle for better coping mechanisms...you have your whole life ahead of you!

I think Laurie was right, most kids want to drink at your age, it's pretty natural, but you might be lucky in having this disease.... I think yoga, meditating and exercising are far more fun then drinking in some smoky bar...maybe you can find some healthy things that work for you....then, once you get your SVR, you can take it easy on the other stuff, and maybe focus on the healthy lifestyle, and have a drink now and then for fun...depends on what you want to do, but for now, it's healthy lifestyle all the way! and you know, nothing is a better high then the endorphins kicking in after a good workout, or 3 mile run, but that's just me, lol....
